Prince Louis
Prince Louis Xavier Marie Guillaume was born on 3 August 1986 at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Hospital in Luxembourg. He is the third son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg. He has two older brothers, Prince Guillaume and Prince Félix, one younger sister, Princess Alexandra, and one younger brother, Prince Sébastien.
Prince Louis’ primary education started at the Lorentzweiler school, and continued at the private school Notre-Dame Sainte-Sophie. He completed his primary education at the American School of Luxembourg. He continued his secondary education at the Collège Beau Soleil, in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland, from which he graduated in 2005. During his years at the Swiss school, he participated in a humanitarian action in India, organised by the Private Foundation of Collège Beau Soleil. In 2006 and 2007, the prince completed an internship with the Red Cross in Geneva (Switzerland).
On 12 March 2006, Gabriel de Nassau was born in Geneva, Switzerland. Gabriel is the son of Prince Louis of Luxembourg and Miss Tessy Antony. He is also the first grandchild of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. Prince Louis married Tessy Antony on 29 September 2006. In doing so, he gave up his succession rights to the Luxembourg throne for him and his children. On 21 September 2006, Prince Louis and Tessy became the proud parents of another son, Noah. In 2009, Grand Duke Henri created Tessy “Princess of Luxembourg”, with the style “Her Royal Highness” and the children of the couple became “Princes of Nassau”, and were also granted the style of “Royal Highness.”
